Earth Day Cleanups and #CMCTrashTag
Earth Day is next Monday, April 22. We here at the Chamber always promote being green and caring for the environment. We encourage our members to join in this initiative this Earth Day. Partake in one of the area clean ups organized by Chamber Members
Riptide Paddles & Pedals or
Cape May Brewing Company.
If you are unable to join one of these don't let that stop you from doing your part. Take a bag of trash and go out yourself or gather some family or friends and go out to your local park or just along the side of the road picking up trash. This is part of an international effort called #TrashTag. This movement is comprised of citizens all over the world cleaning up their neighborhoods and posting before and after pictures to social media using the hashtag #TrashTag. We want to localize this to see what's going on in our area with #CMCTrashTag. So go out, clean up our county and use #CMCTrashtag on social media.
For more information about #TrashTag check out this article from
CNN.com.
