Beginners in the Big Backyard
Beginners are growing and changing right before everyone's very eyes! They have been exploring "My Backyard" and making observations about the world outside of their windows. Beginners have also explored both plant and animal life cycles. They have watched real-life caterpillars go through the life cycle stages and look forward to releasing their new friends in the Summit Backyard. As the school year begins to come to an end Beginners will prepare end of year portfolios to showcase at Grandparents Day.

Upper School Community: Ice Skating
On Friday evening, Student Council hosted a social event at Jordan Valley Ice Park. Twenty upper school students and a few parents met to skate together for a few hours. Mrs. Cook helped to chaperone, and Dr. Heet showed up as a surprise guest! Several students were brand new to ice skating, and they learned so much in a short time. Many mentioned that roller skating would be a fun event in the future. "It was a really wonderful evening," said Mrs. Smith, "And I think we're all looking forward to continuing social events throughout the summer!"
