‘Alumnae Spotlight: A Seat at the Table’ with Susan Sloan

Join us on Tuesday, September 15th at 7:00 pm ET for an opportunity to meet with Susan Sloan, an alumna of the Eta chapter of Sigma Delta Tau and the author of A Seat at the Table: Women, Diplomacy, and Lessons for the World (which also happens to be our September book club pick). Susan will be sharing her experiences working for a global nonprofit advocacy organization in Washington, D.C. engaging with diplomats, government officials, community organizers, and international leaders. She has met with officials from more than 60 countries through diplomacy, advocacy, and experiential education. Her interactive approach to communications and coalition-building has impacted groups around the world.

Sara Green (Alpha Mu—University of Miami) is hosting a 4-month, virtual wellness program, covering fitness, nutrition, mindfulness and self-care. This is our third year partnering with Sweet Seidner’s Bake Shop, a locally owned kosher certified bakery in Woodbridge, Connecticut, dedicated to using only genuine ingredients: real sugar, butter, eggs, flour and chocolate, resulting in amazing made-from-scratch baked goods.

Our fall sale includes assorted cookies, apple cake, honey cake, macaroons, and new tie dye masked smiley face cookies. A percentage of each order will benefit the Sigma Delta Tau Foundation.
