Senior Spotlight: Madison Vanmoerkerque
An Article by Staff Member Kathy Giovando
Don’t let her small stature fool you, this girl is a firecracker! Dedicated to her principles, if Maddy believes in a cause, she gets behind it 100%. Maddy is a discriminating audience but once she has made a connection, she is a loyal and caring friend. Maddy is also a highly observant and talented artist. Her attention to detail in photography and pencil drawing shows a devotion to the details and beauty in nature that shows a maturity beyond her years. Maddy is a hard worker and is determined to succeed. Her work ethic and her determination will continue to serve her well in the years ahead. We are very proud of Maddy’s accomplishments at SRHS and she will be missed when she graduates.
Senior Spotlight: Joslynne Villemaire
An Article by Staff Member Kathy Giovando
Joslynne is perhaps the student who has demonstrated the most growth seen in a high school student from freshman year to graduation. Completing 4 years of coursework in three years, Joslynne will graduate early this year. In her three years, she has worked hard and will have earned the distinction of an early graduation. She also has grown up quite considerably, and is apt to show her kind and sincere side often. Jos is very responsible and readily communicates when she can’t be in class as she wants to make sure she completes the assignments for the day. Joslynne maintained a job and her studies during remote learning, demonstrating adaptability and resilience. These characteristics make up her strong core, combined with her genuine desire to succeed and to choose happiness. Joslynne also has been holding out on us, it seems. She has demonstrated amazing artistic skills this year doing beautiful scientific illustrations in Environmental Science. They are all hanging on our fridge!

Joslynne is a very nurturing person. After graduation, Jos plans to pursue a career in healthcare, either as a nurse or a vet. We wish her only the best in the years to come. We will miss her!

Having worked with Joslynne for going on 3 years, I can honestly say that she is an exceptionally capable student. I am sad that she is graduating early because I will miss working with her but I am confident that she is ready to take on the world. ~Ms Harvey
Senior Spotlight: Devin Belden
An Article by Staff Member Kathy Giovando
Devin is an easy going, but hard working student. He treats school like he does a job, taking it seriously and having fun at the same time. Devin has been a pleasure to work with. This guy has quite the sense of humor, even if it can be a little spicy. Devin will be an asset to any job or program he attends. Physical education teacher Josh White had this to say about Devin, “It was great having Devin in class, he excelled in multiple different activities while taking my classes. Getting to know Devin over the past four years has been quite the experience and I am very proud to see him grow.” We wish him the best!
Summer Enrichment Camps at Sanborn
The Sanborn Regional School District is planning to run a series of in-person summer enrichment camps for children of all ages. Camps provide an opportunity for children to learn new skills, explore a passion, and make new friends. Camps will follow current health and safety COVID guidelines and are open to students both in and out of the school district. Register early to secure your spot. Camps can only run if a minimum number of registrations are received. If camps need to be cancelled due to low enrollment, you will be notified on or before June 1 and be issued a full refund.

Plaistow YMCA to Offer FREE Three Month Membership to Sanborn Students
A Message From Principal Brian M. Stack
Dear Sanborn Community,

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for our students both in and out of school to support their physical and mental well-being during this pandemic, we are excited to announce a new partnership with the Plaistow YMCA that will allow any of our students to obtain a three month Y membership for FREE. This initiative is funded by a NH DHHS Empower Youth Grant that the Y applied for and received on our behalf.

Parents, I would urge you to take advantage of this opportunity if you can. As a parent myself, my wife Erica and I take advantage of these programs for our own five children. The staff members at the Plaistow YMCA are very responsive to our needs and those of our children, and the facility is well-maintained, clean, and sanitary.

On behalf of our school, I would like to personally thank Tracy Fuller, Director at the Plaistow YMCA, for her efforts to secure this funding and include our school in this opportunity.

PTO Clothing & Shoe Donation Bins
When you drop your unwanted clothing and shoes off in these bins, the SRHS PTO gets paid based on the weight of the clothing! This is a really easy way to help our school. All PTO proceeds go directly back to programming and scholarships that directly benefit our students. NOTE: Shoes must go in a separate bin.

Did you know? From April of 2015 - May 2017, this fundraiser has helped us raise nearly $2400.00 for the PTO. Help us double that number by sharing this opportunity with your friends, your family, and your neighbors!
