British Artillery at the Wentworth House
Saturday, April 20th, 10am-4pm
Colonel Paul Wentworth House, Water Street, Rollinsford
Revolutionary War re-enactors portraying the officers and crew of the 7th Company, 3rd Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Artillery will display the weapons, equipment and uniforms from this vital corps from General Burgoyne's army of 1777. Throughout the day, the unit will demonstrate how their two bronze 3-pounder cannons were fired and moved through any terrain, along with musket drills and other aspects of British military life. Inside the Wentworth House, visitors can view demonstrations of hearth cooking, displays of military equipment and uniforms, and information on the American Loyalist volunteers who fought alongside the British in the American Revolution. The event will take place from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is $5 for adults, and free for children and ARCH members. The circa 1701 Wentworth House is located on Water Street in Rollinsford and is maintained by the nonprofit Association for Rollinsford Culture and History (ARCH).

CPR Classes at Dover Adult Learning Center

The Ogres Are Coming...
To the Hennessy Theatre that is! Momotaro: Peach Boy Hero has opened. This Japanese fairy tale comes alive with full life sized Bunraku puppets. Children are invited to sit on the front of the stage to really be a part of the action. Bring the family and enjoy this one-act play, which is the winner of the Anna Zornio Children's Theatre Playwriting Award. Families and Guests are invited to join the cast as well as other special guests such as the playwright, professors, and Japanese exchange students on Friday, April 19th. Dates and Times: April 18 at 6:30 pm, April 19 at 7pm, and April 20 at 10:30am and 2pm. Tickets are $12 for General Admission and $8 for Youth/Seniors/UNH ID holders. See you at the show.
