Watsonville's Beer, Art and Wine Walk
Opportunity to Show and Sell Work
Exhibit Date: May 11, 2019
We invite your participation in the second annual Watsonville Beer, Wine and Art Walk. You may choose to enter as an individual artist with your own display, or show with the PVA Members in a group display. We will have two retail spaces to share with a possible audience of 400. Art work must be original; we are not able to show production work or jewelry for this event. You may sell your work directly to the public if you have a resale/tax certificate with the State of California. You must also have a copy of the certificate at the event. Or, you may choose to use the PVA resale number. There are no booth fees or commissions involved unless you chose to have PVA process payments. In this case there will be a 10% charge, and you will be located in the space that accommodates PVA Members (so we can process the sales). Please send an e-mail to [email protected] for additional information and to participate. If you your answer is yes, you want to participate, send Judy a couple of images as soon as possible.

A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host. They are generally defined as a cultural event linked to literature, art or discussion. Historically, salons are associated with French literary and philosophical movements of the 17th and 18th centuries.  In the 21st-century the tradition continues, with the modern-day cultural salon thriving in cities around the world. Members' Exhibit: Mirrors
Deadline Change:  April 21, 2019
Exhibit Dates: June 19 - July 28, 2019
Looking at Myself by Jane Gregorius
We are giving our members a few more days to apply, since Hedwig is on vacation. PVA invites your participation in our annual members only exhibit,  Mirrors. In this all-media show, we would like your personal interpretation of the meaning of "Mirrors".

"Mirrors" is an interesting word. it is a noun as well as a verb. As a noun, it refers to a reflecting surface that produces an image of whatever is in front of it. As a verb, "Mirrors" is present tense, and means to represent something honestly or to give a representation of something that is similar to something else.

Hold your mirror up to consider how language, culture, personal identity, politics, and customs, are reflected in today's society. Apply by April 21! Click here:  Mirrors Call for Entry
