I spent part of this week in Glen Rose with the Central Texas Conference Board of Ordained Ministry. The BOM is the group charged with interviewing and credentialing new pastors in the United Methodist Church. Those annual interviews took place this week...

We invite you to purchase Easter flowers in memory or in honor of loved ones. The flowers will be a combination of lilies and tulips. Plastic Easter Eggs, individually wrapped candy, individually wrapped snacks, stickers, or very small toys (small enough to fit in a plastic egg) are needed for our Easter Eggstravaganza. Please put these items in the marked bin in the Narthex. Donations will be accepted til April 7th.

· Covered-dish picnic for everyone, bring a dish to share. Drinks will be provided.

Aledo UMC will again partner with Center of Hope to host Camp Hope in the Oak Hill neighborhood on Wednesday evenings in June. Plan now to be part of this exciting ministry to bring the love of Christ to the families of this low-income neighborhood! Information and training will be at AUMC on Sunday, April 28, 2:00pm.

JUNIOR HIGH: July 14-19, 2019 Central Texas Conference (current 6th-8th)
Calling all current 6th-12th graders and amazing adults who love mission trips.
The sign-ups for summer mission trips are open and ready for you! The price is $250. If you are not sure if your students can go this summer, due to sports or other things, remember, someone can always be taken off a list but they can't be added once registration closes.

We're Reading the New Testament in 2019!
|
Are you ready to learn more about Jesus? Start the New Year with your church family as we embark on a yearlong commitment to read the entire New Testament together. Each weekday (Monday through Friday) we will read one chapter from the New Testament. Each Sunday Pastor Lee will be preaching from one of the five chapters we read that week.
