Robotic Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence: Automating Critical Tasks, In Critical Times, While Staying Ahead
RPA and IA are available to be leveraged to start your digital transformation journey. Yet, it’s risk vs. reward when it comes to these technologies. While the benefits are significant, organizations must remain accountable for the actions of their RPA or AI-driven systems or risk potentially significant damage. Beyond bottom lines and financial or legal implications, improving AI for the greater good – setting higher standards, building in ethical and empathetic considerations and transparency, and eliminating bias – is the right thing to do. The panelists will cover digital transformation in terms of the change management and skill sets required, real-life case studies of these technologies being used in practice, audit and financial reporting war stories of what can go wrong, how COVID-19 has altered the trajectory for RPA and AI adoption, and finally what are the considerations for the near future where AI capabilities start surpassing human intelligence.

AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone
The combination of autonomous vehicles, advances in artificial intelligence, and the integration of transportation systems and infrastructure are quickly advancing new and innovative intelligent mobility systems. Deployment of these systems requires a location were a variety or real-world situations exist to test, scale, and commercialize solutions that can address the growing demand for fast, efficient and affordable freight and passenger movement. This presentation describes an initiative being launched at AllianceTexas to establish a mobility innovation zone (MIZ) that provides the infrastructure, differentiated capabilities and services, collaborative partnerships and ecosystem, and the ability to test and commercialize ground and air mobility solutions.

The Future of Finance: Intelligent Automation and the Finance Workforce
COVID-19 is accelerating the trend towards using Intelligent Automation ("IA") to optimize performance and efficiency. This trend is not only for Finance but for other SG&A functions as well. With barriers to change at an all-time low, CFOs have the opportunity to reimagine their organizations and transform them to blended models that balance traditional on-site and remote workers with digital tools and managed services. Even CFOs who have not started transitioning to this model will find these digital technologies so easily adaptable that they may not even need to bring some workers back to a physical location as they reopen post-COVID. In this session, A&M will share ideas on how to navigate common pain points, including: multiple legacy systems, challenges with data extraction, poor use of software investments and business process management / continuity.
