From our Executive Dean
Dr. Karima Feldhus
Dear Emeritus Institute Students,
Welcome to the 2020-2021 academic year. Six months ago, our lives were disrupted by COVID-19. This pandemic has temporarily changed the way we live, work, go to school, and spend time together. We moved all our classes to online to keep our students and employees safe. This presented challenges, and the faculty and staff pivoted quickly and adapted to the new norm.
On August 6th, while at the Saddleback campus distributing computer devices to students, I had the privilege of meeting two Emeritus Students, Chris and Margo. Chris proudly shared with me the importance of the Emeritus Institute to his late mother and now to him. Margo touted her favorite Emeritus instructors and expressed her gratitude for our classes.
Whatever your goal is, be it to stay healthy by signing up for Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga, or Tai Chi, or learning to invest in the stock market, speak Spanish, writing a short story, painting a portrait, designing jewelry, learning about the birds of the world, or joining a choral ensemble, the Emeritus Institute provides our communities with tuition-free, high-quality classes taught by experts in the field.
We are here to support you in every way possible.
Sincerely, Karima
