We are excited to announce the 2021 NSERC USRA Program information!
The NSERC USRA (Undergraduate Student Research Awards) are meant to nurture your interest and fully develop your potential for a research career in the natural sciences and engineering. They are also meant to encourage you to undertake graduate studies in these fields. If you would like to gain research work experience that complements your studies in an academic setting, these awards can provide you with financial support through your host university. We encourage qualified Indigenous, women, visible minorities, BIPOC, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, and LGBTQ persons to apply for this award.
You must work under the supervision of a faculty member. The Psychology Faculty members listed on our website are accepting applications for Summer 2021.
Please follow up with them directly via email with your unofficial transcript to apply.
The deadline to secure Faculty approval is Friday, February 19, 2021.

The Undergraduate Student Summer Research Fellowships (USSRF) Program provides students an experiential learning opportunity to participate in social sciences, humanities and/or creative arts research under the supervision of a Queen's faculty member. The program is intended to provide students with meaningful opportunities to engage in discovery-based learning and to develop research and presentation skills.
The application deadline is 9:00am EST, Monday, March 1, 2021. Contact Traci Allen for more details.

If you’re enrolled in the Biology/Psychology Specialization, we have exciting news! Co-Presidents Erin McBride and Jeremy Swales have started the BioPsychology Program Student Council (PSC) with 3 main goals: to advocate for issues the student body is passionate about, to create a sense of community within the program, and to make information about the program more accessible. Since the BioPsychology PSC is a new addition this semester, the hiring process and initial groundwork is still underway, but once the PSC gets started, we’re going to need your help. To achieve the goals of program improvement, advocacy, and creating a sense of community, we need the community to be engaged with our initiatives and provide us feedback to help this program reach its full potential. To take the first step, please follow our social medias and keep an eye out for events and ways to get involved! |
