Now that life has started to return to normal; people realize they don't want their homes to feel as cramped as they did during the pandemic.

We recently had the opportunity to work with a wonderful family in Bellevue. They wanted more space near their kitchen for their grade-school children and the adults to gather together. They didn't want their kids having to do their homework and play at the dining table or in their basement while they cooked.

Recently, we were hired to convert a loft into a bedroom. The job required framing, drywall installation, door hanging, and painting. The work resulted in the addition of an extra bedroom without adding to the house's footprint. The new bedroom offers privacy, a closet with slider doors, natural light, and electrical outlets.

Pistachio Salad
Pistachio Salad Recipe

2 small or large packages pistachio pudding mix
2 small or 1 large Cool Whip
1 can crushed pineapple, drained.

Mix all together

Add mini marshmallows
Add chopped pistachios or walnuts.

This is one of Brenda Long's family's favorite holiday recipes.
