HHS Quarterly Provider Relief Funds Reporting
 
HHS reported the quarterly reporting requirements that were included in the attestation agreement and was due by July 10, 2020 will be rolled into a report that will be announced in the coming weeks.So, the great news, is no reports are due to HHS by July 10th. Additional Anti-Fraud and Auditing requirements will be announced in the coming weeks as well. RHCs should maintain excellent records of deposits and disbursements of all Provider Relief payments and how the funds were used to replace lost revenue or compensate for increased COVID expenses.
 
If you feel your clinic is eligible for the Medicaid/CHIP payment, start now. The application is more time consuming than other applications and requires the clinic to upload a tax return, Quarterly 941 Report, FTE Worksheet with NPI numbers, and possibly other Worksheets. Again, the deadline is July 20th, 2020. The payment will be 2% of patient revenues.

Revised Cost Report  
Filing Deadline
 
On June 25, 2020, Palmetto revised their website to instruct providers that the extended due date for filing December 31, 2019 Medicare Cost Reports has been revised from July 31, 2020 to August 31, 2020. Here is some more information.
 
We still have a large  number of RHCs that have not submitted their cost report information for filing. Please submit this information as soon as possible, as we need time to accurately and completely file your cost report before the revised Cost Report filing deadline. The link below is a checklist of the information we need to file the cost report. 
Medicaid/CHIP Provider Relief Fund Distribtuion
We updated our website with important information related to Pediatric and CHIP clinics that did not get paid through the General Fund Distribution. Here is some of the information that can be found at 
June 11, 2020 HHS announced funding for Pediatric and CHIP clinics this week. We put together a document with information on how to apply and attest for this funding which can be found here.
