BHF is proud to partner with the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and the Bloomington Parks Foundation to provide vouchers for low-income seniors and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) participants to use at the Bloomington Farmers' Market.
As part of the IU Responding to the Addictions Crisis Grand Challenge , Indiana University has created an online project in collaboration with the Indianapolis Coalition for Patient Safety to serve as a free, community resource in the hopes of reducing stigma around substance use disorder.

The project includes a video series (above) created to serve as an opening to a larger discussion on addiction, treatment and recovery, prevention and harm reduction, and resilient communities.

More resources, such as a discussion guide , are available here or you can contact Lisa Fukuda or April Toler for more information.
While COVID-19 can cause a significant impact physically, many have also experienced mental health issues spurred by the pandemic. Managing mental health is essential for the well-being of Hoosiers and communities around the world. The CDC and local health officials strongly encourage everyone to wear a face covering in public spaces. People who are in close contact with one another can spread COVID-19 through respiratory droplets, produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Additionally, COVID-19 may be spread by people who are not showing symptoms.
