ALA participates in VA’s virtual event for women veterans
|
Last month, American Legion Auxiliary National President Nicole Clapp participated in a live virtual Q&A hosted by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The event focused on women, who are the fastest growing group within the veteran population. Female servicemembers and veterans often face unique challenges. To address some of the issues, the VA gathered a panel of experts to answer a variety of topics. The event received more than 760 comments and was viewed by more than 272,000 people.
