President's Message
My first two months at ASPIRO have gone by very quickly. I’ve been inspired by meeting so many wonderful people and experiencing the warmth and happiness at ASPIRO. It’s clear that this vibe is created by a dedicated team who are united in their mission.

At ASPIRO we put the people we support at the center of everything that we do. Our goal is to promote growth and to provide experiences that enrich each other’s lives. To help each other learn, create, work, play, share, and stay healthy.

ASPIRO provides a wide array of service. We help our community by caring for children and their parents, by volunteering to help the poor and the hungry, by supporting people in competitive integrated employment and day programs, and by providing work experiences all around Brown County.

While many people associate us with the buildings that we own, most of what we do takes place outside our walls. We are at the park, the mall, the food pantry, and at local fishing holes. We are playing flag football and singing karaoke and charter fishing and deer hunting. In short, we are doing what everyone else is doing in Northeastern Wisconsin!

We are also seeking to constantly expand what we offer to people. The past few months we have been actively examining opportunities to create more robust day programs and more employment options through enclaves and group supported employment. We are actively examining everything from franchise opportunities to microenterprises.

ASPIRO is committed to the basic supposition that everyone deserves a place in their community and the opportunity to live a full and meaningful life. That is what binds all of us, and our community, together. We ask for your help as we move forward in increasing opportunities for the people of Brown County and the broader area. If you have ideas, please consider attending one of our brainstorming sessions or simply send us an email to get a conversation started.

I look forward to the upcoming year and hope that I can meet many more of you. Have a wonderful, happy, and healthy holiday season.
