- Arcus Foundation Releases 2014 Annual Report
This report features the work being done in LGBTQI communities across the world, zooming in on grantmaking as well as legislation and violence against global LGBTQ communities.
- Astraea Launches the World's First Intersex Human Rights Fund
The first of its kind, the Intersex Human Rights Fund supports organizations, projects and campaigns led by intersex activists working to ensure the human rights, bodily autonomy, physical integrity and self-determination of intersex people worldwide.
- Ending Conversion Therapy: Supporting and Affirming LGBTQ Youth
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) report shows that conversion therapy is not appropriate for minors and offers methods to support LGBTQ and gender non-conforming children. This important new resource makes it clear that conversion therapy is not an appropriate therapeutic approach based on the evidence, and explores alternative ways to discuss sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression with young people.

GCEM provides post-secondary scholarships to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and allied students who live or attend school in the geographic area served by the Gay Community Endowment Fund (Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark and Wayne counties). Students should have participated in organizations or initiatives that positively impact LGBTQ communities.

The Other Foundation invites applications for grants from lesbian women and transgender people or organizations in thirteen eligible southern African countries to support work that addresses discrimination against lesbian women or transgender people. The closing date for submission of grant concept proposals is Wednesday, 18 November 2015. For more information, click here. To apply, click here. A selection panel will review all applications and make decisions about the appointment of peer reviewers. All peer reviewers must be available for a two-day regional workshop that will be held in Johannesburg on November 24th-25th, 2015.

Recent Grant Award Announcements
- Arizona LGBTQ Nonprofit Receives Generous Grant
One-n-Ten has announced a $500K grant from The Bob & Renee Parsons Foundation over the course of two years. The grant will provide at-risk LGBTQ youth with safe, supportive housing and support the implementation of a development director and part-time program coordinator.
- 2015 MacArthur "Genius Grant" Winners
Openly lesbian artist, Nicole Eisenman, and gay puppeteer, Basil Twist, are two of the twenty-four recipients of this year's $625K MacArthur winners.
- New Federal Funding to Serve Homeless LGBTQ Youth in NYC
Combined, the more than $1 million in federal grants will provide critical resources to Ali Forney Center, which works with LGBTQ homeless youth on a range of issues, including domestic and sexual violence, substance abuse treatment, and mental health services.
- Pomroy Foundation Announces Grants for Newton Groups
Pomroy Foundation has selected Camp Lightbulb as an LGBT grant recipient. Camp Lightbulb provides LGBT female teenagers in the Newton community with a summer camp experience in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment.

Robert Bank
Robert has been named the next President of American Jewish World Service, where he currently serves as Executive Vice President. Robert will succeed Ruth Messinger as the next president of AJWS on July 1, 2016.

Danilo has received
Triangle Community Center's (TCC) largest scholarship in its 25-year history. Danilo was previously an intern at Funders for LGBTQ Issues. The award was made in recognition of his service to the LGBTQ community and for his many years' worth of work for everyday equality. Congratulations, Danilo!
