Celebrate Sustainability Success
What an amazing way to end the month of May, celebrating our Green Schools Quest successes and showcasing videos of each important aspect that makes sustainable practices for our future generation's schools and community a priority, a project, a QUEST – because   WHERE we learn matters!

We are CELEBRATING the work of the 2019-2020 Green Schools Quest participants at www.greenschoolsquest.org. Help us continue this virtual celebration by viewing the below videos, sharing, liking, commenting on our socials or reaching out about how to get involved in the next Quest of 2020-202.

Green Schools can be powerful promoters of health and well-being.  Improving health and wellness addresses physical, emotional, and social issues students and their communities may be facing. Watch the announcement video to learn more or contact us on how to be part of the impactful positive change the Greens Schools Quest project-based challenge is making on the health and well-being of the planet and her people!
What's New in the Community?
Renew Missouri has launched Renew STL Solar , affordable, simplified SOLAR for commercial and non-residential customers in the St. Louis region.

Renew STL Solar can help you or your company identify and take advantage of current Federal, State, and utility incentives! By partnering with StraightUp Solar Renew STL Solar helps you or your company receive quality building evaluations and bids while supporting solar jobs. Solar energy is set to be one the dominant energy technologies on the planet employing more St. Louisans than coal or natural gas industries. The Triple Bottom Line of Sustainability presents itself as Renew STL Solar helps with various types of financing and solar may allow you to create new short-term revenue, while paying back the loan through the utility bill savings that your solar delivers!
Ameren Missouri's mission is to power the quality of life for its 1.2 million electric and 132,000 natural gas customers in central and eastern Missouri.  The company's service area covers 64 counties and more than 500 communities, including the greater St. Louis area.

Now, these 500 communities have the opportunity to GO SOLAR without installing solar panels of their own. " Community Solar is just one of the many renewable energy-focused options we're offering customers," said Matt Forck, vice president of community, economic development and energy solutions at Ameren Missouri, in a press release May 28th, 2020. Of these 500 communities - customers and municipalities, large or small, residential or industrial will be able to sign up to purchase 100 kilowatt-hour blocks of solar energy generated at Ameren Missouri's Community Solar facilities .
But hurry! Sign up NOW to reserve your chance to participate in the SECOND Ameren Missouri Community Solar program - as Missourians demand more renewable energy we hope this program continues to grow clean, solar energy in Missouri. "In 2019, Ameren Missouri customers quickly took all of the available energy produced at the state's first Community Solar facility located near St. Louis Lambert International Airport," states the More Solar Energy Planned for Missouri press release (view the video above of the first community solar installation). Will you sign-up to GO SOLAR, TODAY? No personal solar panels needed.
