There is strong evidence to show that exposure to pesticides, Paraquat in particular, is associated with an increased risk of developing Parkinson’s. 
 
The PD Avengers are supporting the joint efforts of Parkinson's UK and Cure Parkinson's in wanting to see a ban of Paraquat production in the UK. The UK Government is inviting people to comment on its public consultation document ‘Sustainable Use of Pesticides: Draft National Action Plan. Sustainable Use of Pesticides: Draft National Action Plan’
