Lesson Module 6 - Logic
The Logic lessons will enable students to apply deductive reasoning to arrive at valid conclusions in complicated situations. The rules of logic will help students evaluate the vast array of claims facing you as a consumer, citizen, student and human being. Understanding logic will allow students to construct better and more convincing arguments of their own therefore becoming a more effective advocate for their beliefs. Topics will include: Statements and their negations, truth values of conjunction, disjunction, conditionals and bi-conditional statements.

The Set Theory lessons investigate the need to sort and organize information obtained to find order and meaning by classifying things into collections. We will analyze a variety of collections ranging from surveys to types of number systems. Topics include: Set membership, Subsets, set operations and Venn diagrams.
Office Hours
Office hours are optional. This time is for students to ask questions of the instructor and check-in with us and each other. We've added extra Computer Science hours this week so you have more chances to engage with the instructors and ask questions.
