Below is information for this week. A separate email will go out tomorrow regarding the anticipated return of junior high on Tuesday!
Tech Support
We have tech support available 5 days a week through [email protected]. Our IT staff are monitoring this support ticket system and respond swiftly to resolve issues as soon as possible. Please do not email the teacher with IT issues as they will be unable to address them with you nor will they be able to resolve the majority of issues without reaching out to IT for help as well.
Lunch Notes
Please remember your beach towels for grades K, 2, and 3. Most parents have been sending their student's lunches in disposable bags which made a huge difference last week. Thank you for your cooperation. Remember to send students with refillable water bottles. Stations are located all over campus for student convenience.
Materials Exchange Day - School Supplies Drop-off
Next Friday, September 25th will be our first materials exchange day. Normally, these days will occur only on half day Fridays. However, we did not want too much time to lapse before providing an exchange day. This is an opportunity to exchange physical work and consumable materials. We ask that you drive through the school parking lot to turn in any paper and pencil work that has been completed and requested by your teachers and pick up new assignments between 8:30 am and 1:00 pm this Friday, September 25. We would also like to use this opportunity to collect any school supplies that are needed in our classrooms.
A crate for each class will be set out along the curb on tables in front of the school and will be labelled. Each student will have a hanging file folder with their name on it in their class crate. Please park and walk to the appropriate crate. Take out the new assignments teachers have loaded into the file and put any finished work that teachers have asked for (with your child's name printed on it) back in the folder.
Each class will also have a clearly marked tub under their crate so that you can place school supplies on the table and we will transport them to the classrooms. Be sure to write your child's name and room number on the supplies.
Back to School Nights - September 22-24
We are excited to welcome you to our first Virtual Back-to-School Nights this week. These meetings will provide our teachers with an opportunity to go over schedules and procedures, as well as special events and projects that they have planned for this year. It will also allow you, as parents, a chance to review and clarify information. Given the new format for instruction during the 2020-2021 school year, it is highly recommended that you attend. We want our parents to feel informed and equipped to support students at home. There will be a lot to go over in a limited time!
Below is a schedule of classes with corresponding zoom links for your reference. Junior High parents you will "travel" from class to class while staying on your homeroom link - teachers will come to you. Please note there is an advanced math Zoom for all 6/7/8 parents prior to the junior high schedule. Please keep this document available for reference.
