The Center for Green Schools released a unique series of fact sheets about indoor air quality (IAQ), designed to help people without a technical background understand some of the more complicated details about common strategies. Developed by dozens of experts, the series presents simple, straightforward evidence about the most pressing topics in school IAQ.
The series includes an overview, which gives a foundation on school IAQ strategies and measures, as well as four fact sheets on:
· Ventilation
· HVAC Filtration
· In-room air cleaners
· Germicidal UV
Share this resource with friends, neighbors, coworkers, and clients so that everyone has a better grasp of how to protect students at school this year.

Missouri Green Schools is excited to welcome new and returning AmeriCorps VISTAs and team members who will support low-income schools' participation in the statewide recognition program. Parker and Sister Sharon will focus on providing one-on-one support to assist with action planning and progress tracking as well as outreach to expand program reach, and Ben will manage the development of a statewide network of organizations that desire to help schools lower their environmental impact, improve health, and shift to a culture of sustainability.
Stacey "Parker" Parker
"I am excited to be returning as a VISTA for Missouri Green Schools! The program has explored intersections of health and wellness and environmental justice--two issues that originally led me to this wonderful opportunity. I am looking forward to growing along with the program in the upcoming year."
Ben Freiman
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to join MGS for my first VISTA term. I'll be working as the Partner Network Coordinator, and I'm looking forward to helping deepen connections and create new pathways for the many entities working so hard to help Missouri schools go green!"
Sister Sharon Horace
"Hello! I am Sister Sharon, a Daughter of Charity. I love being outdoors and in nature, and am always looking for ways to share that with others. I look forward to the opportunity to learn from working with Missouri Green Schools and sharing what I have learned in working with community-based organizations over the last 20 years."

The theme is “EE for Everyone, Everywhere.” Keynote speakers Kathy Ambrosini and CJ Goulding will challenge and inspire us to live out our values as environmental educators. From the opening keynote to the closing plenary, MEEA and KACEE can't wait for you to join them on the journey to create a more inclusive and equitable field.
Sessions will be recorded, so you can participate no matter your schedule and access materials after the conference concludes.

To initiate, develop and accelerate the implementation of green building concepts, technologies and principles that promote environmentally responsible, prosperous and healthy places to live, work, learn, and play.
We recognize that we are a predominately white organization – our staff, our leadership, and our membership. As an organization, we recognize that we have unintentionally contributed to the status quo of injustice and systems that are racist. We know that environmental degradation and climate change disproportionately affect communities of color. We are working to do our part to address and breakdown systemic and institutional racism while understanding our own implicit biases. Learn more about our Equity and Inclusion Initiatives.
