Yalda Night - Tomorrow!

Join Iranian Banana Slugs in a celebration of Yalda. This event is open to graduate students.

What is Yalda? In Zoroastrian tradition, the longest and darkest night of the year is a time when friends and family gather together to eat, drink, and enjoy a fine dinner.

Refreshments will be provided.
Union Square Holiday Shopping Trip

During your holiday break please join Global Programming on their trip to Union Square. We'll be departing from Quarry Plaza at 9:00 AM to enjoy a fun day of shopping and sightseeing in San Francisco.

Campus Reminders & Events
The period between fall and winter quarters - winter break - is not covered by the academic year housing contract.

Dining halls and residential facilities at all colleges, Transfer Community, Redwood Grove, The Village, University Town Center, and Camper Park will close from 12 noon on December 11, 2021 until 10:00 a.m. on January 2, 2022.

Welcome to the Winter Owarai Live!
Manzai is a traditional form of Japanese stand-up comedy. Two or three comedians exchange joke-filled conversations at high speed. It is representative of Owarai (comedy), and is rising as a new icon of Japanese pop culture.

At the event, students are going to show their manzai performances which they have created from the scratch. Please enjoy the performance and blow off some steam with laughter!
