OSHA Updates Coronavirus Safety Enforcement Policies including Recording Guidelines
Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced two revised enforcement policies to ensure employers are taking action to protect their employees from COVID-19. Read more for an overview of the revisions.

CDC Office Buildings Guidelines

The CDC just released information to protect workers and clients from COVID-19 exposure in the workplace while keeping it safe and healthy. This includes guides to ensure a building is ready for occupancy before resuming its business operations (ventilation, circulation, mold growth, pests, and stagnant water issues), Hazard assessments to identify where and how workers might be subject to workplace exposure, and Hazard control hierarchy to reduce transmission among workers (engineering and administrative controls) to isolate workers from the hazard and change the way people work. DOL Revises the Fluctuating Workweek Overtime Method
The U.S. Department of Labor announced a final rule that allows employers to pay bonuses or other incentive-based pay to salaried, nonexempt employees whose hours vary from week to week. The new rule will enable employers to pay bonuses, shift differentials, and other incentive payments to employees who are paid under the fluctuating week method. The new rule also establishes that supplemental payments must be included in the calculation of the regular rate unless excluded under the FLSA. Read more
