Update from Norwin School District
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Taylor
May 29, 2020
Dear Norwin Families and Community Members,

I am pleased to share some good news about three generous community donors who have sponsored an electronic billboard message along Route 30 that congratulates the Norwin Class of 2020. We are very fortunate to have many dedicated alumni who support their alma mater, as well as many business owners and community leaders who want to go the extra mile for our students.

Please be sure to review the summary data about the Class of 2020's accomplishments and future plans. This group of students deserves our respect and admiration, and we plan to honor them with a graduation ceremony with adherence to regulations for gatherings for Westmoreland County. Tentatively, we hope this will occur in June, as shown in the Upcoming Events section below.

Finally, please note that these eBlasts will continue from the District throughout the summer on an as-needed basis. They may not be sent every Friday in June, July, and August, but please keep an eye on your inbox for the occasional eBlast that we may need to send to communicate important District information.

Please continue to stay safe, healthy and #NorwinStrong!

Best regards,

Dr. Jeff Taylor
Superintendent

Special thanks to the Norwin Rotary Club (Rosanne Barry Novotnak, President), Bill & Donna Caruthers , and Credible Pools for sponsoring these outstanding billboards on Route 30 at Fairwood Drive near the Sunoco station.

Through their efforts, these generous donors have provided tremendous encouragement for our #NorwinStrong seniors. The School District is grateful for their support. The billboard ads will be running for a couple more weeks. Thank you for your generosity!
