Citywide Anti-Litter Campaign Launched

On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Mayor Turner announced the citywide anti-litter campaign, Don't Let Houston Go To Waste because Litter is Trashy. I am honored to lead the city in this on-going cleanup endeavor. As I stated during the press conference, "We have to sound the alarm and encourage Houstonians to join us. We have all noticed the significant increase in litter around our city. We must address the uptick in illegal dumping in our parks and streets because COVID waste is being washed into our storm drains and waterways."

Brays Oaks Management District Strategic Branding Plan Survey

The Brays Oaks Management District is developing a strategic branding plan for the District.

The purpose of the strategy is to enhance awareness and perception of BOMD and encourage investment in the District, and to better promote the Brays Oaks area to internal and external audiences while also increasing internal awareness of the BOMD and its economic development impact. The strategy will include a review of the BOMD's current marketing materials and target audiences, stakeholder input, and economic and demographic research. Input from residents and businesses from across the District will be a critical part of the strategy process.

Ernst & Young LLP Economic Development Advisory Services will be analyzing the results of the survey. They seek your candid perspective on the District’s image as a destination for business, talent, quality of life, and more.

Your responses will be used for research purposes to better understand the District and the BOMD from your perspective.

Please share your insight by completing the 15-minute survey. Your responses will be kept confidential by the consulting team.

The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, October 2.

Thank you in advance for contributing to this important initiative. We also encourage you to share this survey link with your friends, neighbors, and colleagues and encourage them to participate as well.
