Note from Rye Y's COO

Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we all learn how to work through this COVID-19 crisis. I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy and that you are staying cautious, but optimistic. I miss seeing you all!

I would like to share something I learned in one of the many Zoom meetings I participated in last week:  GRAPES

G - How are we being GENTLE with ourselves during these challenging times?
R - How are we RELAXING, unwinding  or unplugging?
A - How are we celebrating our ACCOMPLISHMENTS, big and small?
P - What are we doing for PLEASURE and fun?
E - How are we continuing to strEEEEEEtch our bodies and our minds?
S - How are we STAYING connected with people?

For me it is amazing (at least so far) how  RELAXING  and comforting it has been to have dinner with our two adult children who are back with us, even though we are all squished into a small two-bedroom apartment!  Click here to read the staff responses to the GRAPE questions.

Stay well,
Randal Ikeda
