GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (Thursday, November 4, 2021) – Not only is it Breeders' Cup weekend, it's exciting live Quarter Horse racing at its best!
For the first time in our history we will divide the trials for the Grade 1, $1 Million Texas Classic Futurity into two nights, Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7. A total of 162 juveniles have entered. Nine trials are scheduled on each night's race card. The five fastest times from each night will earn a place in the starting gate for a chance to win the Futurity final.
A total of five trials will be held Friday night for the Grade 1, Texas Classic Derby. The top ten Fastest time will advance to the Derby Final'
The Live Racing Schedule is as follows:
Friday, November 5
Gates open at 5 p.m.
First live race post time is at 6:25 p.m.
10 races are carded featuring five trials for the Texas Classic Derby (races 5-10)
Saturday, November 6
Gates open at 10 a.m.
First live race post time is at 6:15 p.m.
12 races are carded featuring nine trials for the Texas Classic Futurity (races 4-12)
Sunday, November 7
Gates open at 5 p.m.
First live race post time is at 6:05 p.m.
10 races are carded featuring nine trials for the Texas Classic Futurity (races 2-10)
