Join us at Kent Greenhouse & Gardens as Sharon Audubon Center's Director Eileen Fielding discusses the variety of birds using common NWCT backyard habitat types. Learn how we can make our home landscapes more welcoming and beneficial in order to attract and protect birds, pollinators and wildlife. Take a guided walk through the Kent Greenhouse for hands-on learning about native plants that provide shelter and food. Co-sponsored by Kent Memorial Library, Kent Land Trust, Sharon Audubon Center . 2019 Car Raffle. The Kent Memorial Library has chosen a 2000 Porsche Boxster Roadster as this year's annual fund raising raffle car. This arena red with Savanna beige leather interior has very low mileage. Tickets are $20. Raffle tickets are being sold in the Library and during the annual Library Book Sale. The car will be parked in front of the Library. The winning ticket will be drawn on at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27 at the conclusion of the 43rd Annual Kent Pumpkin Run. Information is available on the Library's website. Ticket holders need not be present to win.
 
Art Exhibit: A Collection of Stuff by Kent photographer Karen Chase. Includes photographs ranging from Insects to Ireland and a lot in between. The exhibit runs from March 6 to April 30.
