THIS SUNDAY, WE'LL BE TOGETHER!

11AM - 1PM @ Archbishop Murphy HS
This SUNDAY (September 20) is another of our IN-PERSON, socially-distanced, OUTDOOR GATHERINGS. WE will be doing a short worship gathering (outside) with some singing, prayer and a short devotional thought for familes. And then we'll hang out together outside for a BYO PICNIC.

Here is what you should BRING:
  • camping chairs
  • food to eat
  • drinks
  • pop-up canopy (if you have one)
  • face-masks
  • and fantastic personality!

We'll gather out on the lawn next to Grace Hall (where we usually meet) and say "hello" (at the proper distance of course), eat and enjoy being in the (relatively) close proximity of other humans for a while.

We will have access to bathrooms in the building we usually meet in for our worship gatherings if you need them. 

There will be a REBROADCAST message available on FACEBOOK at the regular 10am hour for those not able or comfortable meeting in person.

STARTING SEPTEMBER 27TH
Perhaps the kids have it hardest in the pandemic times because they really miss being with their friends, classmates, and buddies from church.

Up until this point, we have been playing the KIDS MINISTRY VIDEO at the beginning of our LIVESTREAM broadcast each week. It's the same videos our kids usually watch in their church groups on Sunday. And we hope that it's been useful for families.

But STARTING SEPTEMBER 27TH, we are HOSTING A ZOOM ROOM at 9:30am for our kids. The idea is that several of our KiDs ministry leaders will host the call and watch the video with the kids attending. After the video, they will discuss what they learned and spend some time playing games or doing other activities.

We will post the ZOOM ID and Password each week on our FB Group and email parents with the info as well. So keep an eye out for details for the ZOOM ROOM!
STARTING SEPTEMBER 27TH
Our MIDDLE SCHOOL and HIGH SCHOOL students have been meeting mostly weekly during the pandemic for a GAME NIGHT. But starting September 27th, they can ALSO MEET ON SUNDAYS immediately AFTER OUR ONLINE GATHERINGS at 11:45am for a time to chat, discuss the Bible and check-in for prayer requests.

Basically, it's the COVID ERA version of YOUTH GROUP.

We'll keep doing game-nights and some in-person events (when possible), but this is a good event to encourage your student to attend so they can connect with some spiritual learning and exploration as well as encouragement.
