Friends,
On Sunday evening, my family headed to Chattahoochee Plantation part of our larger neighborhood to watch the Halloween action. Our son’s girlfriend, who lives out of town, came along to witness the crazy.
As the trick or treaters were starting to wane, she commented on what a special neighborhood we live in that would allow shutting down traffic in their neighborhood to actually encourage hundreds of children to come beg for candy.
We do live in a special neighborhood and CPWC creates special opportunities for all of us.
In October alone, I hiked with 23 other members and friends of CPWC in fall splendor to the Hike Inn. I read and discussed a fabulous book with my CPWC book club. I learned how to transform a planter into a beautiful arrangement with succulents during our October daytime program. And I missed several opportunities to learn new things and enjoy this fabulous group of women.
As we turn toward Thanksgiving, I’m super thankful for this group and encourage you once again to pick one thing and join the fun.
This Friday night, November 5, I’m hosting First Friday, 410 Cherry Hill Dr. Even if you can only stay a few minutes, come by and say hi.
Best from your Co-Presidents
Lesli and Jean Ann
