From Payroll:
WesternU is excited to announce that after applying significant planning and development efforts, Payroll is nearing the final phase of a software transition from Banner to ADP Workforce Now (WFN). The target date for utilization is scheduled for Spring 2021.

What does this mean for you? Through an enhanced electronic process, nonexempt (hourly) employees will utilize an online time clock that will automatically populate your timecard, in real time. The entire University will begin to use a unified electronic method to request vacation time approval and to record sick days. There are numerous process efficiencies and improvements, all of which will be easier to access and manage on your phone via the WFN app, or on a tablet or computer via the WFN online portal.
We will provide multiple training and information sessions and town halls in the coming months to teach you how to utilize this new system and address any questions you may have. In the meantime, please visit the WesternU website. As we approach the launch you will be able to download the app, review key dates including town halls, information sessions, go-live dates and read FAQs. Look for the next email update on Tuesday, March 2.
