Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Dear Friends,

I'm so excited to have the opportunity to share the message (and so much more) with you in worship this Sunday! Our Scripture passage will be John 20:19-31, where our resurrected Jesus appeared to his disciples, including Thomas. In this scene we get to experience Thomas making the brave and beautiful confession, "My Lord & My God"!

This Sunday is a very special day in the life of Trinity... it is Confirmation Sunday! In the 9:40 worship service, we will Confirm sixteen 6th & 7th grade students who have been working this school year to grow closer to God, as well as preparing to join Trinity. We will have the opportunity to share in a similar scene to that of our scripture as we  experience our sixteen Confirmands confess Jesus as their Lord. (How awesome is that?!)

These Confirmation students have been working hard in their classes to prepare for this Sunday. We have spent a significant amount of time studying the Bible & how to interpret it, who God & Jesus are, what faith in Jesus means for our lives, the history & mission of the United Methodist Church, and the history & mission of Trinity.

Along with our weekly Confirmation classes we traveled to Warren Willis United Methodist Camp in Leesburg, FL for a Confirmation Retreat. The students were also partnered with adults in Trinity who served as their Confirmation Mentors and met with them throughout this semester.

Please lift up in prayer these sixteen Confirmands as they take a big step in their faith by making the decision to follow Jesus and to join Trinity this Sunday.

Also, Sunday night our Youth Ministry will celebrate our semester long cross-generational Prayer Partners Program where youth and adults throughout Trinity have been intentionally reaching across generational lines to pray for each other daily. Our Prayer Partner Party Sunday night (5:30-7:30 in Worship Center B) will be a fun time together and all are welcome! We will worship together and give thanks to God for the connections we've made between youth and adults through the act of prayer.

I love seeing all that God is doing in the lives of our young people here at Trinity! I cannot wait for Sunday, when we can all be a part of God's work as we worship our risen Lord together!

Much Love,
Rebekah
