This intergenerational project is partnership between the Thurnauer School of Music and award-winning composer/conductor/author Rob Kapilow, who's been commissioned to compose a multimedia orchestral/choral composition based on the theme of Faith Ringgold's book, We Came to America. Our Town Grant. This Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts supports projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes. Cost share/matching grants range from $25,000 to $150,000, with a minimum cost share/match equal to the grant amount.
