Dear Hospital Partners,

The Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (the Department) will hold a hospital stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 pm. During this meeting, we will discuss the data requests for the Hospital Expenditure Report and the accompanying Hospital Community Benefit Accountability Report. For the language of the data requests, please refer to the Department's webpages regarding House Bill (HB) 19-1001 and HB 19-1320, respectively. The Department will also collect feedback to amend the processes of data requests.

The Department will present select modifications and clarifications to the process and to the template, but asks hospitals prepare for a discussion on these specific topics:
  1. Hospital Expenditure Report - Expense Allocation
  2. Hospital Community Benefit Accountability
     a. Report Template
               i. Public meeting requirement
              ii. Investment section

   b. Guidance document
