October 2021

Monroe Food Truck with Tony 10-16 _003_.jpg

What a whirlwind October has been! Our Food Truck Festival held a few weeks ago proved to once again be a success with 20 participating trucks and 4,000 people in attendance over a seven hour span. We gratefully acknowledge our event sponsors: MHE, M&T Bank, , Feerick Nugent MacCartney PLLC, The Lake Street Marketplace, Munistat and Hudson Valley Realty for their generous contributions in helping to fund this event.  We are pleased to announce that over $2,000 was raised to benefit American Legion Post 488 in Monroe and Harriman Post 1573. We continue to be grateful to the many hands that contribute to the success of this bi-annual event. From town employees to our local law enforcement and emergency response agencies to our neighboring municipalities, together we continue to be able to provide a day full of fun, food, music and camaraderie! Save the date for our next festival taking place on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

The recent Trunk-Or-Treat hosted by The Greater Monroe Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Monroe was a well attended, spectacular event! It was wonderful to see so many residents enjoying an evening of fun and candy (lots of it!). We look forward to hosting this event again next year.
