Parking Lot Service and
Graduate Recognition
This Sunday
Church Family,
On behalf of the deacons and staff, we will have a Parking Lot Service on Sunday morning at 10:30am. You can bring your lawn chairs and sit on the parking lot while social distancing, stay in your car and worship from your vehicle, or worship at home through Facebook Live, our YouTube channel or our church app. The parking lot service will give you a chance to visit with your church family from a safe distance while honoring the new CDC guidelines that were published last weekend. At the end of the service, we will be honoring all 8th grade and college graduates and having a special time to recognize all of our high school graduates (we are asking for all high school graduates to wear your cap and gown for this special time). It will be a fun day! We want to encourage you to bring cowbells or any other noise makers you have as we celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates at the end of the service!!
Our deacons are spending time this week in prayer about what steps God wants us to take as a church as we look at reopening and entering into phase 2 of our regather plan. Your regather team will meet again this week and your deacons will meet on Sunday night to consider new CDC guidelines, recommendations from our President, and guidelines from our governor. We hope to provide the church with an announcement about our next steps on Monday, June 1st. Please continue to pray for your deacons, staff, and for your elected officials during this unusual time. We are excited about worshipping together again very soon in the sanctuary!
