Calling All Childcare Administrators:
Apply today for the Early Childhood Leader Fellowship Offered by the Ounce of Prevention in partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission!
The Essential Fellowship is a 12-month professional development opportunity that empowers childcare administrators to increase collaboration and improve the quality of teaching and learning in their centers.

The Fellowship offers virtual training, coaching, and peer learning communities led by experienced Ounce facilitators. Participants will also have the opportunity to conduct The Essential 0-5 Survey in their program; this valid and reliable measurement system collects teachers, staff and family perspectives on the program areas most tied to positive child outcomes. Leaders will work with this survey data as part of their fellowship experience.

To be eligible for the fellowship, childcare administrators must:
  • work at centers with four or more classrooms, AND
  • administer early learning programs with a subsidy agreement with the Local Workforce Development Board in one of the following communities:
  • Golden Crescent
  • Alamo
  • Rural Capital Area
  • Tarrant County or
  • North Central Texas

If you are interested and eligible to apply, please fill out this interest form. You will receive the application for the fellowship by email when the application window opens on October 12, 2020.

If you have any questions, please contact our Ounce support team, at leadlearnexcel@theounce.org
