Scotland.... A Perfect Indian Summer Vacation Destination, Cocooned in your own Highland Home or Scottish Castle

Last week I was presenting on a Virtuoso webinar, and 50% of the travel advisors surveyed online, said that their clients were looking to book family gatherings in the near future, whilst a further 30% said that their clients were thinking about rental properties.   So that means that 80% of those who answered, saw an immediate trend emerging for exclusive-use properties, of which family gatherings or more precisely, re-gatherings, are an important element.

Most family gatherings are often best suited to a private property, as many properties are flexible and allow the client to customise precisely their individual family and clients' needs,  and there is one for every type of particular delectation: t he eccentric uncle or less popular sister-in-law can be ensconced in the lodge at the end of the driveway or the West Wing!!   And remember.... there are many high-end and charming rental properties that are extremely affordable.  Would you believe that this main image is of a historic Scottish castle!

As you all probably know by now, when I had originally set up Adams & Butler, back in 2003, our sole specialization was exclusive-use takeover properties in Britain and Ireland, and we were probably the only travel company who knew those elegant and charming properties really well.  Adams & Butler has grown since those early days, we now have access to many spectacular properties all over the world and especially in Africa.

Rental properties whether a castle, country estate, manor house, beach house or townhouse, are like  Lego , you simply add on the services such as cleaning, a chef, butler or driver as you require, or not, if that is the case.  Especially now, as clients are not only more concerned with limiting the amount of interaction with others, but are also experiencing overwhelming desires to be cocooned with their loved ones, exclusive-use rentals satisfy both those conflicting longings.

Scotland is really a hidden gem, a perfect cultural vacation destination where you can experience a fusion of ancient traditions with modern excursions.  There are few places in Western Europe that can boast such unique views of rolling green pastures, dotted all over with wild deer and Highland cows.   Late Summer and early Spring in Scotland aren't just about nature, even though natural Scotland is majestic in every way. When the sun is out, the locals fill the small cobbled streets of Edinburgh and in the distance, you can hear the faint sound of a bagpiper playing,  whilst also getting a whiff of the aroma of malted wheat being distilled in a nearby distillery.

Whether you are a couple or friends looking to get some quiet time away or a multi-generational family wanting to build those perfect family memories, the team here at Adams & Butler can curate the perfect, personalized itinerary for you.

Now, let us bring you on an enchanting journey to experience the wonders that Scotland has to offer...
Here is a small selection of some of the wonderful properties that we can book for you in Scotland.

Best wishes and take care,
