Children's Ministry News
We would like to extend our gratitude to the families that participated in  BOLT   backyard - virtual VBS this week! We had 3 amazing days of learning to LISTEN, FOCUS and FOLLOW JESUS! We played fun games, made creative origami crafts, enjoyed bible stories and listened to great christian music!

BOLT VBS may have ended, but God’s love NEVER ends!

For VBS pictures and other Children's Ministry news, see this week's HUMC Kids Connect .
Serving the Community
On Wednesday night, Not Here Ministry made its transition to Right Here Ministry. Approximately 150 people were served a hot, delicious meal through our drive-thru meal service. They were greeted with warmth and hospitality with this message included on a card:

Thank you for visiting HUMC’s Drive-thru Community Dinner event. We hope you enjoy your meal.
We hope to see you at future events.  Visit our website for information on what’s happening at HUMC.

We anticipate that this will be an on-going event that connects HUMC to the community and fosters lasting relationships with Jesus Christ. Please click HERE to see pictures that show what kind of welcoming atmosphere was provided.

We want to thank all who contributed to making HUMC’s first Community Drive-thru Dinner a success. From the desserts provided by our United Methodist Women, to the donations of water, to the WONDERFUL chefs & servers, to Brilliant Brian greeting guests at the entrance, it was a beautiful evening. If interested in getting involved, contact Krista at kristasipe4@hotmail.com.

A response from one of our guests:
I was fortunate to have been able to get two of the meals you handed out this past Wednesday. They were delicious! I am a member of Asbury UMC. I want to thank your Church for your kindness to those of us who are less fortunate. May the Blessings of God, be with you, all of you, evermore...James T.
