Your Return to Campus
Dear Bengal,

We are excited and prepared to welcome you back to campus next month. This summer, we have been planning for your safe return to in-person instruction and building the Bengal experience you expect. All students are encouraged to visit our Roaring Back website to stay up-to-date about Idaho State’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
FALL SCHEDULE
As previously announced , an alternative schedule will be in place this fall. Classes will start on Monday, August 17, and students’ last day on campus will be Tuesday, November 24, prior to the start of fall break on November 25. Final exams will take place online between November 30 and December 4.
FACE COVERINGS
Faculty, staff, and students are required to wear cloth or disposable face coverings while on campus . The University will provide a reusable cloth face covering for all students. Face coverings must be worn in all shared or public spaces, including common work areas, hallways, meeting rooms, classrooms, research labs, and when outdoors in the presence of other individuals.

Wearing face coverings and following public health guidelines is about working together to stop the spread of COVID-19 and protecting the lives of our fellow students and campus community. We all want the University to remain open and to return to our normal routines. Most importantly, we want to continue educating you, our students. The way we can do this is by slowing the spread of COVID-19 by wearing face coverings.
CARES ACT FUNDING
Returning students who were enrolled in the Spring 2020 semester and meet eligibility criteria will receive an additional CARES Act disbursement on September 15. The CARES Act provides financial aid assistance to students whose lives have been disrupted by COVID-19.
ROARING BACK
All Bengals have a shared responsibility in doing their part to protect one another, our families, and those who are medically vulnerable. Idaho State remains focused on our mission of providing you with a world-class education, and together, we will all do our part to provide face-to-face instruction.

You are an important part of our Bengal community. No matter where you are or what your needs may be, we are here to help you achieve your academic goals. If you have concerns about returning to face-to-face instruction, we are also ready to provide you with remote learning opportunities so you can continue your education.

As always, please reply to this email or call (208) 282-2794 if you have questions or concerns.
