As part of our effort to make the NFRC label and NFRC certification as valuable as possible, we are re-launching our Retailer Program. After surveying retailers, we designed this program to help them better explain the NFRC ratings and the label to consumers.

In Case You Missed It: NFRC / EWC in the News

Earlier this year, The Washington Post Real Estate section featured NFRC and the Efficient Windows Collaborative in an article: Homeowners turn to technology for more than just window dressing
“Before shopping for new windows, there are five things to know, and most of them can be found on stickers attached to the windows themselves or on the National Fenestration Rating Council’s  website. The council is a scientific energy rating group that tests virtually all windows from reputable U.S. manufacturers.”
“ … you get independent verification of salespeople’s claims about energy efficiency by going to the Efficient Windows Collaborative at www.efficientwindows.org.”
The article is a great tool for customers to better understand the complexities of selecting replacement windows for their homes. Check out the article, share it on social media, and promote the value of fair, accurate, and credible energy performance ratings of windows, doors, and skylights.
NFRC and EWC Working Together to Offer You Better Benefits

We are excited to be working on integrating the  Efficient Windows Collaborative  website with the current NFRC information. While we are not changing or taking away any valuable information on the website, keep an eye out for an updated website. At the Fall Meeting, we will be announcing more details about how current NFRC members and participants can have their products listed in the Window Selection Tool and take advantage of all of the other benefits.

As valued members and participants, we welcome your feedback and suggestions.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to  Michelle Blackston , Senior Director Communications and Marketing, or  Jessica Finn , Membership Manager.
