from the ptsa president
Wow! What an exciting week we have in front of us.

Tomorrow night our Saxons take on the Meridian Mustangs in our first home football game of the season. On Saturday morning, our volleyball players are hosting a tournament at Langley. Encourage your child to grab a friend and come to Langley to root for the players, cheer team, dance teams and marching band this weekend!

Our first PTSA General Membership Meeting and Principal Coffee will be held next Wed, Sept 22, at 9:30 am in the Lecture Hall at LHS. The PTSA will review the budget for 2021-2022 and discuss its spending priorities. Principal Greer will be the featured speaker at this meeting. This is a great opportunity to hear, directly from her, what her plans are for this school year. We plan to livestream this meeting so you can choose to attend in-person or virtually. A link to access the meeting virtually will be posted on the PTSA homepage by next Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday is the Freshman Class Dinner. It will be held in the Outdoor Amphitheater. This event promises to be fun and informative, so you won’t want to miss it if you have a student in the Class of 2025!

Parents of seniors, Thursday is your day! The Senior Class Forum will be held virtually on Sept 23 at noon and will cover the topics that every senior parent needs to know about the college application process.

On Fri, Sept 24, the PTSA’s New Family Network committee is hosting a New Family Social in the Outdoor Amphitheater at 6 pm. Parents of Langley students new to the area are invited to come and meet other new families.

Whichever events you attend, I hope you find meaningful ways to connect with others in our Langley community. Hail Saxons!

~ Clare Bradshaw, PTSA President
