Celebrate Indigenous People's Awareness Month
Public Virtual Programming
Although the conditions are not ideal to celebrate Indigenous People's Month in person this year, Indigenous Relations and Inclusion, City of Thunder Bay is fortunate to have a creative and dedicated circle of partners to help make this month a memorable one. Together with our partners and co-sponsors, we are proud to offer the city and region free online opportunities this month and beyond that educate, entertain and engage.

Throughout this week and into next we have a great line-up for all to enjoy (co-hosted by Thunder Bay Public Library, Red Sky Performance, National Film Board of Canada). We invite you to take the time to explore what is available, and we look forward to seeing you in the virtual crowds!

Imposed limitations have always been a source of great innovation and ingenuity. How do we push through our limitations, go beyond our comfort zones, and navigate through a time of lock-down? How do we move from thinking outside of the box to thinking and doing inside of the circle? What does this even mean?
Join performers and cirque artists online as they perform within unbelievable restrictions. You'll see some of the most beautiful, breathtaking excerpts from Red Sky Performance’s repertoire followed by a REDTalk with our artistic director Sandra Laronde, and performers Jinny Jacinto and Samantha Halas.
