Horizons Arts Ministry is presenting the Cajun Festival on October 24th, (4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.,) in conjunction with activities originally scheduled for the St. Michael’s Day celebration on October 2, 2021 that was cancelled, re: the faulty weather forecast. This is a multigenerational event. As it is said, “fun for all ages,” and this includes YOU.
On Sunday, October 24, the Trash to Treasure table will be set up beneath the pergola, immediately outside the red double doors by 8:00 a.m. Please bring your tchotchkes that morning, either before or after each service, and place them on that table. It will have a sign. The items will be quite safe there as people will be setting up before the 4:00 event begins. Each item will sell for $2.00; the unsold will be given to charity the following week or reclaimed by the owner that day. The sale dollars collected will benefit Fr. Cox’s discretionary fund.
The History and Sacred Symbols of Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church will be sold in Spencer Hall between the services on October 24th. It will not be sold October 24th after the 10:45 a.m. service. The history book will always be available in the office during the week and following Sundays.
