Guidance on First Responder Bonuses
We would like to provide an update on the First Responder Bonuses. We are tracking this information for each provider, however OEL has not provided us with guidance processing the bonus at this time. They have informed us that each provider will only be paid by their host ELC. If you have children from multiple ELCs, then the full bonus you are eligible for will be paid by the host county.

Example: If you are in Martin County and have 4 children from Martin, 3 from St Lucie County and 2 from Palm Beach County for a total of 9 eligible children. You would be paid the $4,000 from ELCIRMO and not receive funds from the other ELCs.

At this time we have elected to move forward with your SR payments without the bonus instead of delaying the payments while waiting for the necessary guidance and attendance data from neighboring ELCs.
