Sunday Breakfast
Our next breakfast will be Sunday, January 5, will be provided by guest chefs, Peter & Alissa Finnis.
   
Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.  
   
Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols 
DECEMBER 21st, 5:30 PM : Please join reflections and many of your fellow parishioners as we express this season of preparation, expectation and hope through song and scripture. This year we will be presenting a mix of new songs, new composers and new arrangements...along with some established favorites.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, Dec. 21st at 5:30 at St. Luke's church in Anchorage.  
 
Please bring a neighbor and a friend...and enjoy this evening of song and scripture.
2020 Contribution Envelopes are available at both main entrances to the church.  
Please be sure to sign your name (legibly) and the envelope box number on the sheets provided.  
If you don't, we have no way of identifying your cash donations. 
NOTE : the boxed envelopes will be available at the church until the parish meeting after which they will be kept at the church office.
Christmas Decorations   
The WREATH hanging will be on Saturday, December 21 at 10:00am and the decorating of the POINSETTIAS will be on Sunday, December 22 after the 10:00am service.

Please plan to help out with one or both days if you possibly can.

Save the date: The Christmas decorations will be taken down on Sunday, January 5, 2019, after the 10am service. Remember, many hands makes quick work, and more fun!   Thank you!!

No Centering Prayer  
There will be NO Centering Prayer for the month of December due to Christmas Eve services.  
 
Please join us for the next Centering Prayer on
January 28, at 6pm at the Lyman House (church office) conference room.  
 
We meet every fourth Tuesday of the month.
 
Altar Flower Memorials for 2020   
 
UPDATED : 2020 Altar Flower Memorial available dates are listed below.  
 
As this is First Come, First Serve, please be flexible in your dates and have an option date or two. Those who list 2020 memorials will be given first option next year. The cost for EACH Sunday is $45.

Note: St. Luke's does not make any money on the flowers and with parishioners reserving a date, this is the only way we can supply Flowers on the Altar each Sunday.

Church Office Closing
The parish office will be closed on December 24 THRU 27 and will reopen on Monday, December 30, 2019.

Bible Study : Off 
There will be NO bible study on December 25 or January 1.  
 
It will resume the following Wednesday, January 8.
 
December 28 & 29 
On the weekend of December 28 th and 29 th, we will be observing our regular worship schedule.
