Solutions for FUNctional Independence
START WITH YOU!

Greetings!
Disabilities DO NOT go away during a crisis. And, neither do our dogs who are with their handlers every moment of every day! Now, more than ever we need your support as we assist the disabled community towards FUNctional independence.

At MSD-WCP, April 2020 was a month of finding our balance as we support the training of our Service Dogs (SD) and Service Dogs in Training (SDiT) during the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are offering online workshops and training sessions for our SD/SDiT Handlers, Raisers, and Volunteers. We are finding creative ways to socialize our puppies during shelter in place. Exploring many out of the box techniques while in our own boxes! Grateful for BlueJean and ZOOM keeping us connected as we navigate this new norm.

We appreciate all you do to support our Service Dog Teams and educational program Paws that Empower, thank you very much. It truly takes all of us and every little piece is deeply appreciated.

Please like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, engage with us on Twitter, and watch for us on Tumblr as we educate and support Service Dog Teams respectfully, together, separately, and joyfully. Stay Well.

Peace. Health. Joy. Community.

Sincerely,

Janie Heinrich, Executive Director

WELCOMING our newest addition, Layla! She was born January 7, 2020. She is a brilliant Parti Poodle being raised up by an established Puppy Raiser! SDiT Team Aylisa & Layla will be featured each week on our Instagram Post, be sure to follow along!
Our Service Dog Teams are grateful, having their Service Dogs at their side. They all are living a fuller more vibrant and happy life! Brilliant Poodles.

Writing about our puppies journeys from SDiT to SD!

Looking for a blogger to interview, write and share about SDiT and SD Team life. To educate the public about the real work of a Service Dog, vital!
