Miami-Dade County Public Schools Announce Reopening Plan
The reopening plan includes four options for students which are: going back to school full-time; staying home for full-time distance learning, and two hybrid models. One has kids alternating school and home every day, the other hybrid plan has students going two days to school, two days at home to accommodate block schedules. This plan is dependent on whether or not Miami-Dade County
is in Phase 2 of reopening according to The Plan for Florida’s Recovery.
By July 10, parents must select the instructional model that they prefer for their children. This is critically important as schools finalize plans.
To support families, M-DCPS will create a guide to assist parents with staying engaged and informed for the remainder of summer and throughout the year. More information will be communicated in July. Visit their official
Twitter page
for additional information.
