August 2020

Dear TBE Member,

I am writing to update you on our policy regarding guest tickets for the High Holidays. With so many of us feeling isolated and apart these days, we wanted to do something that would encourage families and dear friends to pray together at our upcoming virtual Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services.

Therefore, we are happy to provide electronic guest tickets to family members and out-of-town friends of TBE members at no cost this year. Family members include children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, and siblings. "Out-of-town" is defined as not residing in Stamford, Greenwich, New Canaan, Darien, Wilton, Norwalk, and Pound Ridge.

To request guest tickets please go to www.tinyurl.com/tbe-5781g. List the names and contact information for your guests on the form and submit by September 7. Tickets containing a special access link to TBE services will be emailed to guests around September 10.

We are also asking you to help defray some of our expenses this year by making a donation, if you can, along with your ticket request. As you know, High Holidays guest tickets have been an important revenue source for our synagogue, ranging in price from $125 to $250, and have served to protect the value of TBE membership.

Rabbi Hammerman, Cantorial Soloist Katie Kaplan, Music Director Beth Styles and the High Holidays Committee are hard at work to make this year's High Holidays services the most engaging and innovative ever. Please encourage your family members and friends to join us!

If you have any questions or comments about the ticket policy or anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me at [email protected]. I will respond promptly.

Regards,

Lisa Manheim
