Lis Neris "Jurosa" is a creamy, exotic barrel-fermented Chardonnay from Fruili, Italy's north-easternmost province. The region is known for producing some of Italy's best white wines.
Pio Cesare's Barbera d'Alba is a fruity, round and juicy red from Piedmont. It drinks like a rich, round Pinot Noir - truly gulpable.
And Giovanni Rosso's Barolo is simply an outrageous quality of Barolo. If you love these two bottles, we also sell it in cases of six.
This case contains two bottles of each of these three wines:
Lis Neris "Jurosa" Chardonnay 2016
"This is a terrific expression of this versatile French grape. The 2016 Friuli Isonzo Chardonnay Jurosa is fairly structured but lightweight in the mouth, with brilliant energy and an open, zesty personality. Orchard fruit, ripe peach, toasted nut, lemon mousse and creamy vanilla all conspire to create the beautiful bouquet. I would suggest drinking this wine within the next few years; however, this sample has the fibre and balanced acidity to withstand some near-term aging. Some 55,000 bottles were created."

Pio Cesare Barbera d'Alba DOC 2018
"A soft, fruity red with raspberry, berry and citrus undertones. Medium body, round tannins and a fruity finish. Drink now."

Giovanni Rosso Barolo DOCG Serralunga 2016
"Iris, woodland-berry and pine-forest aromas shape the nose. On the focused, vibrant palate, mint and star anise notes accent a core juicy Marasca cherry. Taut polished tannins and bright acidity provide balance and a firm lithe structure. Drink 2024-2031."
